About Us

Hello!

My name is Emily and I am a 36 year old mum of 3 from Hertfordshire and I am the face behind Black Cat Rhymes & Publications. Although I work within the Finance industry, my main passion outside of work has always been drawing and writing, which has led me to where I am today. 

In 2011, whilst on maternity leave, I began creating the first ‘Guess, Boo!’ idea, and finally (many!) years later, I have self-published a selection of my own children’s books, colouring books and pet poster prints under the name Black Cat Rhymes & Publications (which comes from my love and obsession of cats!).
