About Us

Hello!

Hello! I’m a mum of three from Hertfordshire, juggling family life with a full-time office job and a lifelong love of creativity. My writing journey began back in 2011 while I was on maternity leave, when the very first spark of Guess, Boo! appeared. After many years of dreaming, drafting, and determination, I finally self-published it in 2024 — and I haven’t stopped since!

Today, I’m the proud creator of seven children’s books, two colouring books, a growing range of greetings cards, coasters, and an ever-expanding collection of posters — including cat posters, dog posters, kitchen posters, and lots more.

My brand, Black Cat Rhymes & Publications, is inspired by my lifelong love (and slight obsession!) with cats. They’ve always been part of my world, so it felt only natural that they became part of my creative identity too.
